Well, seeing as no one reads this.. (>_>
Maybe some archaeologist in the future will find and read this and be interested in the ongoings of my daily life as perhaps one day I will turn out to be a historical figure..
Well, I'm still at the Cheesecake. Approaching 1 year now. When I tell the newcomers at work that I've almost been there for a year, they just nod slowly and say things like "Well, it's a living." or "Really? Sad.." But this is always the way. You don't pick the job, the job picks you. You might think at some point, you have a good handful of savings, you can go pick what you want to do, but what you want to do is something only the resourceful can get into, with a stack of certificates thicker than yours and more network of people bigger than yours.
I'm still not sure what I want to do. Well, I do know, it's just it isn't really a "job" per se.
I just want to learn things until my brain explodes. Do people get paid to learn? Probably not. Learning is what you do on the side, while jobs are repetitive patterns of mundane tasks. It might be new and fun in the first few weeks, but in the end, it's all the same.
I don't know why North America associate school and learning with a negative image. Like people here seriously hate learning. Probably because their ideal of fun is injecting themselves with narcotics and mass amounts of alcohol, then proceed to unlearn everything they know in life. What a bunch of losers. Not naming names, but these kids are the downfall of evolution really. To solve this problem, I will require serial proxy murders. XD
Have the government create an IQ test, anyone below the score of 150 gets sent to a special camp where they will be sorted into giant cargo containers and shot into space.
But then the plot of Starcraft will happen, the container will crashland somewhere, but with dumb people instead of criminals. They'll sort out the strongest of them and kill/eat the rest, and start a small society of these big dumb people, who will eventually dominate a sector of space and have a galactic war with the smarter people back on Earth, or whereever we were living then. But being the more strategic of the bunch, we will eventually decimate their forces through thinking and planning. Yeah, that's the way it'll go..
